Problem
LUMIN Magazine was created after the realization that there were no mainstream well-living and mindfulness publications that catered to people of color.
Insight
Consumer research identified a lack of minority representation in the well-living and mindfulness space. Although competitors in this space are slowly starting to introduce more people of color, there was not a prominent source that spoke with a POC perspective. Our research confirmed the demographic and psychographic context needed to create a strategic plan for the launch of LUMIN Magazine.
Solution
We provided branding and identity design along with a charismatic, vibrant, and playful website for LUMIN Magazine. Our brand experience design included everything from providing a curated playlist, designing apparel products, and setting up an e-commerce shop on their website. A social media strategy was also provided to further enhance the total brand experience.
